 Lights ON Family Night at Intermediate Academy

On November 16, the Intermediate Academy held a fun and educational
Lights ON family night.  Students and their families shared a meal together and later enjoyed a trip to the Family Museum.  At the museum, children participated in science and other activities. In addition to staff and volunteers,
95 people (students and their families) participated the event.

The community helped make this event possible. The meal was provided and
served by Broadway Presbyterian Church.  Family Museum discounted the
admission fees and stayed open later to accommodate the Intermediate
Academy. RICAP provided a van in addition to the Johannes bus scheduled
to provide transportation. Also, staff from the Lights On For Learning
program assisted families,
