Projects
coordinated by RIROE:

Lights
on for Learning - The Rock Island County Regional Office
of Education (RIROE) in partnership with Rock Island School Districts
received federal 21st Century Community Learning Centers grant
funds for establishing Community Learning Centers (CLC) in thirteen
school building sites. Each CLC works in partnership with community-based
organizations to offer academic enrichment, recreational and cultural
opportunities in safe, drug-free facilities for youth, their families
and community members at times other than regular school hours,
i.e., before- and after-school, summer programs, or during intersession
periods. Learn more by visiting Lights

Partnering

of community organizations and service providers. The vision of
the Partnering with Parents Project is to ensure that enrolled
