2017 Educator License Renewal

brandi

It’s that time of year again; renewal/registration is upon us. For those of you who have a renewal date of 2017 you may do so anytime between April 1 – June 30, 2017. As most of you know ISBE has went paperless so everything is done online through your ELIS account.  We have added some documents to our website to help guide you through getting into your account.  Please go to www.riroe.com click on the “Teacher Resources” tab, then click on “ELIS User Manual”, use this manual as your guide to ELIS.  You will need to enter all of your Professional Development (PD) before you will be able to renew/register.

ISBE has added some “How-to-videos” to help you through the processes of navigating your ELIS account; how to create your account; how to update; how to renew, etc. click here for videos.

*Please remember that if you are up for renewal/registration and do not register/renew your license by June 30th, if it is set for renewal, this will lead to an expired license with all expired licenses lapsing on Sept. 1, 2017. Once a license has lapsed it will cost $500.00 plus your PD hours or 9 semester credit hours to renew. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact me at brandi.schwanke@riroe.com or by calling 309/736-1111.

Here are a few links to some documents that may lend you some guidance. (these links will be available when the information is ready)
