This training is an introduction to developing a trauma-informed lens for District Leadership Teams. Using a trauma-informed perspective informs the design and development of supportive educational environments for all students. Participants will be able to summarize current definitions of trauma, recognize the prevalence of trauma, describe the impact of trauma on brain development and consider how to use a trauma-informed lens to support teaching and learning for all staff, students, and stakeholders.
There will be 4 PD credit hours offered for this course.
