#11734 Starlab Training

This training will include the basic operations of the Starlab Planetarium system.  Participants will gain a better understanding of astronomy and the nighttime sky and increase their confidence in introducing this interesting topic to their students.  This training is a requirement in order to reserve Starlab for use at your school.  In addition to reviewing numerous classroom activities and resources for teaching astronomy, participants will practice setting up and taking down the Starlab and operating the projector.  This training is also suitable for any teacher who has previously been trained and needs a refresher.  Each participant will also receive a copy of The Universe at Your Fingertips 2.0 DVD that is full of hands-on space science lessons.
