#9649 Web-Based Resources

This activity-oriented course is for educators to learn how to create and enrich lesson plans, themes and units using a wide variety of free Internet resources.  The class will assist classroom teachers develop and impart critical thinking and problem solving skills in their lesson planning.  Teachers will complete a personal list of resources and a portfolio of lesson plans in content areas and grade levels relevant to their lesson plans using technology to find unit and lesson plan that include instructional strategies for cooperative learning, multiple intelligences and adaptations for learning styles that apply to their specific subject area and grade levels.  Three grad credits through Aurora University are also available at an additional cost of $300.
