You will be exposed to the software in a hands on fashion, will receive information on hardware requirements, and also be exposed to many instructional tips for the use of this wonderful software in the classroom. There is no cost for this workshop; subs will be paid and lunch will be provided!

The RtI process is designed to identify and provide additional instruction to raise student achievement to expected levels and as a way to help determine need for referral to special education services. RtI uses data in a problem solving process to measure achievement to standards so it is not a separate entity but an integral part of the school improvement process. Every district has a written plan with some level of implementation in place but now is the time to refine the process. This workshop will focus on working towards improving your system using the problem solving process.

Participants will:

Learn how to establish and maintain an excellent problem solving team

Explore a process for data collection and ways to streamline the paper trail

Practice using the problem solving process with three scenarios

Identify “next steps” for your class, school or district

Discuss the RtI process as related to the Common Core

Come join us for this 6 hr session and leave with ideas you can use to improve your RtI process. Lunch is on your own.
