Lend support to classroom instructional team (serving children ages 24-36 months) to refine their practices, improve instructional quality, and achieve mastery as early childhood professionals. Conduct regular observations in all assigned classrooms maintain records. Manage program implementation of selected curriculum, assessment tool and any supplemental materials. Align program practices and standards to support quality implementation.
Must hold a bachelor’s degree in child development, early childhood education, or related field. Master’s degree or Illinois Professional Educator License preferred. Experience as an early childhood educator an as a coach or supervisor of educators, specifically in the Birth to Three, preferred. Experience conducting classroom observations of teachers and reflecting with teachers, preferred. Must have a commitment to supporting at-risk families.
