Rock Island County Ag in the Classroom is Back! After being vacant the last 2 years, Ag in the Classroom is back this year with lots of exciting developments. Keep reading for more information from the new director: My name is Jay Bohnsack, and I am the new Ag in the Classroom Coordinator for Rock Island County Farm Bureau. I have recently retired after teaching and being a technology coordinator for 34 years. The AITC Coordinator had been vacant for the past few years and we are excited to get it back up and going again. We have some exciting programs we are rolling out this year and I would love to work with teachers in the Rock Island County area. Please stay tuned. In the meantime, if you have questions about any of our curricular items, Ag Mags or virtual reality programs, please reach out to me. I have several back to school posters and an Ag in the Classroom calendar that has daily agriculture facts to share with your students. Please reach out to me and I will get them to your school.
